Activity Types

Define the types of activities your team performs.

Overview​

Activity Types categorize specific activities your team performs. Unlike categories which are broad groupings, types define the specific kind of activity (e.g., "Phone Call" vs "Site Visit").

Accessing This Setting​

  1. Go to Settings > Calendar > Activity Types

Configuration Options​

Creating Activity Types​

  • Type Name - Name of the activity type
  • Category - Parent category for this type
  • Default Duration - Pre-set duration for this activity
  • Icon - Visual identifier
  • Active Status - Enable or disable types

Common Activity Types​

  • Phone Call
  • Email
  • Site Visit
  • Sales Appointment
  • Design Meeting
  • Production Check-in
  • Follow-up

Using Activity Types​

Activity types are used when:

  • Creating new activities
  • Filtering the calendar
  • Running reports by activity type
  • Analyzing team productivity
