Project Types

Define categories for your projects.

Overview​

Project Types allow you to categorize projects based on the type of work being performed. This helps with filtering, reporting, and applying default settings to new projects.

Accessing This Setting​

  1. Go to Settings > My Company > Project Types

Configuration Options​

Creating Project Types​

  • Type Name - Name of the project category
  • Description - Optional description
  • Default Settings - Pre-configured defaults for this type
  • Active Status - Enable or disable project types

Common Project Types​

  • Kitchen Remodel
  • Bathroom Remodel
  • Addition
  • New Construction
  • Exterior
  • Interior Renovation

Using Project Types​

Project types are used for:

  • Categorizing projects on boards
  • Filtering project lists
  • Reporting by project category
  • Applying default estimate templates
