Active Unsold Projects Report
The Active Unsold Projects report shows all projects currently in an open (not won or lost) sales stage, excluding the default/initial stage. This helps track active opportunities in the pipeline.
Accessing the Report
Reports > Production > Active Unsold Projects
Report Overview
This report displays projects that are:
- In an "Open" stage (not won or lost)
- Past the initial/default stage
- Actively being worked
It provides a snapshot of your current pipeline and upcoming potential work.

Visual Indicators
Contract Date Coloring
The Projected Contract Date column uses color coding:
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Red | Overdue (past date) |
| Orange | Due within one week |
| Black | More than one week out |
This helps prioritize follow-up on aging opportunities.
Report Totals
The footer shows:
- Total Budget: Sum of all predicted budgets
- Provides pipeline value snapshot

Tips
- Projects in default/initial stage are excluded
- Color coding helps prioritize follow-ups
- Use stage filter to focus on specific pipeline phases
- Combine filters for targeted views
- Review regularly to keep pipeline current
Why "Active Unsold"?
This report focuses on:
- Active: In a working sales stage
- Unsold: Not yet won (or lost)
- Excludes initial stage where projects first land
This differentiates from total pipeline which might include newly created, unqualified projects.
Prerequisites
For Projects to Appear
- Open Stage: Project must be in an "Open" (O) stage type
- Not Default Stage: Must have progressed past initial stage
- Not Deleted: Project must be active
- Non-Sale = No: Must be a potential sale
