Sales Summary Report

The Sales Summary provides a comprehensive overview of won projects broken down by opportunity type, including change orders and design fees.

Report Sections

Sales by Opportunity Type

The main table shows won projects grouped by opportunity type:

Consult Fees

Shows consultation fee revenue:

  • Total Consults: Number of paid consultations
  • Consult Fee: Total consultation revenue

Design Fees

Breaks down design agreement revenue by opportunity type:

  • Design fee count by type
  • Total design fee revenue
  • Subtotal for all design fees

Grand Totals

Summary row combining:

  • Total project count (sales + designs + consults)
  • Total revenue (sales + design fees + consult fees)
  • Total with change orders

Key Metrics Explained

Sold Amount

The original contract value when the project was sold, before any change orders.

Total w/ Change Order

The current total value including all approved change orders. This represents the actual revenue expected from each project.

Design Fees

Revenue from design agreements, which may or may not convert to full construction contracts.

Click Export CSV to download the report data including:

  • All opportunity type rows
  • Consult and design fee sections
  • Grand totals

Common Use Cases

  1. Monthly sales review: Track total sales volume by type
  2. Year-to-date analysis: Filter to current year to track progress
  3. Salesperson comparison: Filter by individual to compare performance
  4. Revenue stream analysis: Understand mix of sales, design fees, and consults

Tips

  • Default date range is January 1 of current year to today
  • Design fees are separate from construction sales - track both for total revenue picture
  • Change order totals show project value growth after initial sale
