Schedule Templates

Create pre-built project schedule templates.

Overview​

Schedule Templates allow you to create standardized project schedules that can be applied to new projects. Templates define the tasks, durations, and dependencies that make up a typical project schedule.

Accessing This Setting​

  1. Go to Settings > Projects > Schedule Templates

Configuration Options​

Creating Templates​

  • Template Name - Name for internal reference
  • Description - Template purpose
  • Project Type - Associated project type
  • Active Status - Enable or disable templates

Schedule Items​

  • Task Name - Name of the task
  • Duration - How long the task takes
  • Dependencies - Tasks that must complete first
  • Assigned Role - Who typically does this task
  • Milestone - Mark as project milestone

Common Schedule Templates​

  • Kitchen Remodel Schedule
  • Bathroom Remodel Schedule
  • Addition Schedule
  • New Construction Schedule
  • Exterior Renovation Schedule

Using Schedule Templates​

When applying a template:

  1. Select the template when creating a schedule
  2. Set the project start date
  3. System calculates all task dates based on dependencies
  4. Adjust individual tasks as needed
