Understanding Project Types
What are Project Types?
Project types are specific categories of work that can be assigned to projects. A single project can have multiple types with percentage allocations:
- Kitchen Remodel: 60%
- Bath Remodel: 40%
Revenue Allocation
When a project has multiple types, revenue is allocated proportionally:
- $100,000 project with 60% Kitchen = $60,000 to Kitchen
- This ensures accurate category-level reporting
