Overview

Workflows allow you to automate repetitive tasks and create triggers that execute actions based on specific events. This helps streamline your processes and ensure consistency.

Accessing This Setting

  1. Go to Settings > My Company > Workflow

Triggers

Events that start a workflow:

  • Record created
  • Record updated
  • Field changed
  • Stage changed
  • Date reached

Conditions

Rules that must be met:

  • Field values
  • Record status
  • User assignments

Actions

What happens when triggered:

  • Send email notification
  • Create activity
  • Update field values
  • Assign to user
  • Create task

Common Workflows

  • Send welcome email when lead is created
  • Notify sales manager when opportunity reaches certain value
